The demise and come-back!
Again, steriotypically, another blog is left out to starve on the long road of abandonment.
Not this one. I have many reasons for not having posted in this Blog and many for not having gone ahead with starting this Society.
I found out there was a RAG society of sorts, one that took advantage of what student's love doing, that is, drinking. Not that any thought would be given to the charities or what they do, rather, that the more shorts that were sold the more drunk and forgetful the student would become about where or what was going on.
Not for this society, which sadly is subject only to my short-comings of having too much to do and not enough time or energy. For which I am sorry, too all the children worldwide who have missed out on funding from my lack of spirit.
Lack of spirit. Good. I hate Alcohol. Charity is for those who care, not for a vodka producer to make profit.
I suppose it's better than nothing.
Anyway, whilst trying to finish tonnes of work, I am applying for a place at a new University College (Regent's Business College - in Regents park if you didn't guess). I haven't had much time to think about starting upa society which might be neglected in the long run, the RAG society appears to have a firm monopoly over student fund raising.
It's a shame they weren't doing anything for a Day for Change in February. I feel worse for not finding the time. I'm sure they feel VERY guilty.
That's enough from me. You might hear more from me in the future, you've been warned...
